The winter break has come and gone, and the Bright Pattern team is eager to head to Nashville next week for the annual Customer Contact Week (CCW) Winter conference. As customer experience leaders start their 2019 planning, many are wondering what trends will make an appearance and what tips and tricks will be learned at this year’s industry events.

Marking CCW’s 20th anniversary, the Nashville event is sure to provide new and innovative ideas and technology for the CX and contact center market. At large events like this, it can be difficult to decide where to spend your time. That’s why we are proving our top five tips for making this year’s event the best yet.

  1. Get There Early for On-Site Tours – Day 1 of CCW Nashville starts out strong with a day full of on-site tours of contact centers in the Nashville area. This year, site tours take place at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Postmates, Nissan Stadium, and Johnston and Murphy.

  2. Check out the IDG Roundtable Events – Bright Pattern’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Ted Hunting, with be presenting an IDG session Thursday, January 17th, at 10:50 a.m. He will be joined by Ashley Welch, Director of Service at Lola, as they discuss how to use bots to improve information efficiencies and how to continuously improve your chatbot solution.

  3. Go to the 20th Anniversary Keynote – If you’ve been to a CCW event, you know how good the main conference opening keynote is. This year, CCW celebrates its 20th anniversary with an opening keynote by Jenn Lim, CEO and Chief Happiness Officer of Delivering Happiness. Delivering Happiness is a company she and Zappos CEO, Tony Hsieh, co-founded to inspire science-based happiness, passion, and purpose.

  4. Visit Exhibitor Booths – The Bright Pattern team will be at booth 217 on January 17–18 in the expo hall providing free, live demonstrations of our award-winning and analyst-backed omnichannel cloud contact center software. On Thursday, there will be a Demo Drive networking event in the expo hall, which gives you the chance to demo innovative technologies and win prizes. The end-of-day happy hour networking breaks and lunches also provide a great time to head to the expo hall for free food and beverages, plus the opportunity to talk with industry luminaries at the technology booths.
